People are always underestimating me. Let that be a lesson to you.
After the rift storm last month. My theory is that I've always had this power, but certain aspects were subconsciously locked away. The storm caused my powers behave unpredictably, and made me more aware of what I'm capable of.
Please. Just because I don't sing your praises, it doesn't mean I underestimate you. All this means is that I'm going to have to write more rules for the murder mystery game, created especially for you.
That's probable. A dramatic shift in how you access your mutations could have uncovered abilities you weren't consciously tapping into. [...] How does it feel? Is it a welcome change?
And yet here I am, working on making accommodations for you. You're welcome.
That's hardly how the human experience works. Now you'll always know when someone is telling a kind lie. [...] But I need some samples from you regardless, to see if your Liminality has changed at all. I'm fairly certain it's remained stable, but we need to know that the storm didn't cause any actual changes.
Fine, but consider this: I am your best chance at privacy. If the division makes regular DNA testing compulsory (very likely), I can tell them you're already on the record as my patient.
You deeply misunderstand me. I don't care if IRIS forces me to undergo DNA testing (although that seems like an ethical minefield to me, personally), I just don't want you to have my DNA.
I'm not judging you for using your powers. You can no more help it than I can help hearing lies. But I still get to decide how much privacy I maintain.
As much as I would love a drop of your blood... I will resist, heavy sigh, my life is so hard.
Anyway. Don't expose when I'm lying, and I'll stop rummaging through your drawers uninvited. Or I'll at least keep it to myself. It's not easy to stop. You can relate.
Then we can cooperate and make the most of our specialties.
Wait a second. I know I just talked about privacy, but [...] would you sharing information about a particular employee's genes be in violation of HIPAA?
It would be in violation of HIPAA if I shared your information outside of immediately relevant medical personnel. My priority would be keeping you alive.
If I were your physician, we could discuss in greater detail what your needs and wants are.
[...] AND if I got a sample of your genes, they wouldn't leave my lab. And don't even suggest I'd clone you. I don't need more than one Enoch in my life.
Oh no no no. This isn't about me. I'm trying to learn more about an Enodia employee, and I figured that so long as we're collaborating, it couldn't hurt to ask. Alas.
[...] I think as long as one was subtle, and didn't bother the family, it's [...] no different than any other expert investigating a missing persons case.

What if we make a sort of deal.
